I dove deep into yoga around 2009. Pregnant, with 2 small children in tow, while working, and building a business and a house, I reached a deep energetic burnout. Yoga practice became my center point, and the space that I carved out for it enabled my to rebuild my vital energy.
I took part in a traditional yoga apprenticeship a day a week, for 3 years, (800 hours), and became a certified Vijnana Yoga International teacher with teacher Cathy Valentine and Orit Sen-Gupta in 2016. She also earned her RYT 200 and 300 Level certifications with Yoga Alliance.
I love to explore the many layers of having a human body., learning how to balance on a physical, hormonal, energetic, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. I believe that strength, flexibility and spaciousness are essential to vitality in each layer. All of my programs include a whole approach to physiological health. Hanna has taught weekly classes on Salt Spring Island and Grenada since 2015.
